Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena has been in the entertainment industry for a decade now and throughout the years, she's successfully been able to reinvent herself and evolve.

She's made her mark as one of the best media personalities in Mzansi, as an award-winning best female in rap, crowned 2022 GQ's Best Dressed Woman, and has now shifted the focus to building her brand in the business world as a creative director for Mzansi hottest brands Era By DJ Zinhle and Drip.

“It's really surprising to everybody, myself included but as you grow and you evolve, you always want what you do to be bigger than you. With this I've been able to learn about retail on another level, I've been able to learn about marketing and that's bigger than me,” she tells TshisaLIVE.

She's taking everything she does one day at a time just as she's done with everything she's been involved in Moozlie says,

“One day I will be able to do it all together, I've always been an independent artist so I need to just take things one day at a time. I know I will be able to take it to the top. I know God's time is the best time,”

Juggling all she's got on her plate is not the easiest thing to do.

For the past ten months, she's been hard at work playing her role in the Drip collaboration, with Italian brand FILA, this being among the many other projects she's done with the brand.

“Lekau just believed in me, he is the heartbeat of the Drip brand,”

“It's always so interesting to take something that you're passionate about and practically apply it, Drip allowed me to just add my thoughts, my actual creativity, my ideas, and just put it in whether it is apparel, fragrance, sneakers, it's really just been an amazing year.”

It's been a huge learning curve for her Moozlie says,

While she feels she could've easily branched into creating her own brand, she says many will be shocked to witness what she has coming next in the pipeline.

“I know one day when I bring it back to myself, you guys are going to be really shocked. I could've put my name on a T-shirt and just sold it, but after this, it's going to be on another level.”
