Pabi Cooper has been working hard but is now enjoying down time in the United Arab Emirates.

A desert safari, beachside chilling and dinner dates were the order of the amapiano star's getaway to Dubai.

Pabi took to her social media pages to give fans a glimpse of her trip. Take a look at the snaps below:

The singer has had much to celebrate having recently won Song of the Year for Banyana Ke Bafana at the inaugural Basadi in Music Awards after launching her long-awaited debut EP Cooperville.

“Whatever has been happening with my music career, it hasn't sunk in. It's hard for me to believe it. My debut song wasn't under my company. I even thought I'd be a one-hit wonder,” she told TshisaLIVE.

When she entered the music industry, releasing her first single Isphithiphithi in 2021, Pabi was under Amaroto's management, but is now her own boss through record label Cooper Entertainment, which she admits can be overwhelming at times.

“Being an independent artist is not easy. When you're under a label everything is done for you. When you're independent, you have to tell your team what to do, but I like being my own boss.

“Everything was smooth for me and I am going to leave my mark. I want to be known as a great vocalist and performer.”
