Reports of Matthew Booth allegedly cheating on his wife Sonia have seemingly opened a can of worms, with another “affair” coming to light.

According to Sunday World, Smash Afrika’s wife Kefiloe Mdutyulwa, the daughter of actress Rami Chuene, has accused the 5FM presenter of cheating on her with musician Msaki.

The newspaper alleged that Kefiloe found an image of Smash Afrika and Msaki kissing, along with letters from the singer professing her love for him. The report further states that Kefiloe allegedly suffered emotional and psychological abuse at the hands of her husband and left their home.

As the two shoot up trends lists, they have remained mum on the allegations.

Smash Afrika is continuing with business as usual hosting his show on 5FM, while Msaki has taken time off to recuperate before a festive gig.

Thank you for the love you show in all the live shows. Msaki is in reset and rest mode preparing and looking forward to all the upcoming shows. The festive season is going to be super special,” reads the statement on her social media.

Meanwhile Kefiloe, who has not addressed the allegations because she is “anxious about posting on social media”, said: “So now I have anxiety ya go posta (to post) as usual because everyone is camping on my page, Ke (I'm) dizzy.”

Attempts by TshisaLIVE to obtain comment from the three were unsuccessful at the time of publishing. An update will be included once received.

Smash and Kefiloe welcomed their first bundle of joy last year.

Talking to TshisaLIVE about fatherhood, Smash said the journey had been beautiful, before admitting times had been “gruelling and tough”.

“I want to be present in every way and form there is for my family at large because at the end of the day it's all about the impact of my presence and the role it will play in the future of Kaya's life. I can't wait to experience and create so many memories with our beautiful baby. With the amazing support we have at home, it's been amazing.”

Recalling witnessing the birth of his daughter, Smash said: “My wife Kefiloe was amazing at delivering the baby. Labour is tough, from the early-stage labour, mid-stage, to the late stage where the baby is arriving, it was impressive and she was such a trooper. I have a newfound respect for Kefiloe and I have so much respect for women who go into labour. I did cry. It was beautiful.

“I was present in the delivery room, I cut the umbilical cord and I was the first one to have skin-to-skin contact with the baby. I was very much involved in the entire process and it was amazing.”
