Rapper AKA said Balecianga was the last thing on his mind after he was asked to share his thoughts on the scandal rocking fashion.

On Twitter, the rapper said he had no interest in weighing in on the drama.

Last week Balenciaga withdrew photos from its Spring/Summer 2023 advertising campaign.

Two showed children holding handbags in the shape of teddy bears, which were wearing black leather straps with silver studs.

The ads caused outrage on social media, with the brand accused of child pornography.

“AKA you need to address the Balenciaga issue! Make your voice heard!! ... ... f**k outta here,” tweeted one.

On Instagram on November 28, the band addressed the matter: “We strongly condemn child abuse; it was never our intent to include it in our narrative.”

It admitted a lack of oversight and judgment, saying: “The two separate ad campaigns in question reflect a series of grievous errors for which Balenciaga takes full responsibility.

“While internal and external investigations are ongoing, we are taking the after-actions. We are closely revising our organisation and collective ways of working. We are reinforcing the structures around our creative processes and validation steps. We want to ensure that new controls mark a pivot and will prevent this from happening again.”
