Katlego has been making strides in his attempts to rebuild his career after his private life made headlines in 2022, and his comeback on Expresso has helped resuscitate his career on the screen and stage.
In May this year, the Expresso presenter was in the line-up for the inaugural Mother's Day celebration MAMA MIA! which sold out.
“Thank you to every person who sold out #MamaMiaCpt in celebration of mothers everywhere. Wow Those moments will live on forever in me,” he wrote on Instagram.

Katlego Maboe scored a co-sign from British singer and songwriter Craig David.
The media personality interviewed the star while he is in the country to perform for one night only in Cape Town on December 8 .
During the sit down, Katlego sang Craig's hit song Rise and Fall, which scored a nod from the singer.
“Brother your tone is so smooth. I love it. Your voice is beautiful,” Craig said.
