Musician and dancer Kamo Mphela has opened up about why a song she worked on has not been released.

In a sit down on YouTube podcast JazziQ and friends, the amapiano musician spoke about why she was left out of Tobetsa after she contributed to making the song popular on socials.

JazziQ asked her if the song would make the cut for song of the year. She responded by saying she would wait and see.

“With my songs? That's too much pressure. We will never know, dude. I think let's let the hard work speak for itself. I think Tobetsa is doing pretty well,” she said.

When asked whether the collab was coming out, Kamo shook her head.

“Yeah, yo, that situation is chaotic. There's a lot going on about that situation. Just charge it to the game.”

JazziQ said he knew two versions of the song, Focalistic and Kamo's versions, which were made popular on TikTok by the artists and fans alike.

Kamo said she was focusing on other things.
