Generations: The Legacy has announced the arrival of new faces on the soapie who are set to shake things up.

The first to make her debut in December 2022  is Six Nyamane,  a multitalented actress, singer and dancer who has appeared in film, television and theatre productions  including Rhythm City and Scandal.

In a statement shared with TshisaLIVE  the actress was described as someone who was bringing a "freshness and attitude to the role that will have viewers on the edge of their seats".

She plays the role of Nozipho Cele, daughter of leading man Nkosiyabo Cele, and an intrepid journalist who will expose important stories no matter the danger.

The second cast member is seasoned actress Gcinile (Gcina) Nkosi, who has starred in theatre productions and television roles. She joined Generations: The Legacy from December 2022 in the role of Ma’ Khumalo, the strong-willed wife of Nkosiyabo Cele.

Casting director Russel Savadier said: “I’ve been an admirer of Gcinile Nkosi’s work for some tim. I was delighted to be able to cast her. We needed an actress who was able to stand up to the mighty Nkosiyabo Cele. To be able to threaten and outwit him. Gcinile is able to match him every step of the way. A veteran actress who really delivers.”

On Scandal! she starred as Zinzile and was the wife of Mlungisi.
