Themba "Broly" Mabaso was recently hospitalised ahead of a surgery on his hand.

The former Big Brother Mzansi contestant recently took to his Instagram timeline to share a video of him in a hospital bed. He asked for prayers and revealed he was having an operation on the same hand for the third time.

Themba revealed he had surgery in 2019 after he broke his hand, another in 2021 after a car accident, and this time around it was due to him having been in an altercation.

In the video shared on his Instagram, Themba said there was a possibility his hand could be amputated as it is infected.

"I'm going to go to surgery now, and obviously I'm going to need people to pray for me. Your prayers will be needed because apparently I took time without doing something about it. There might be an infection in my hand that could cause me not to be able to get my hand back.

"I don't know what's going to happen. They might cut the hand if the metal cannot be replaced,

" I have had the same surgery twice. I broke my hand and it did not heal and could not be fixed in 2019 hey put steel plates in my hand. Then in 2021 before I went to the house I broke my hand again, so they did the same surgery twice.

"I had an altercation where I bumped my hand so they have to do the same operation on the same hand for the third time. I love my family, I love my kids, I have a baby on the way. I'm thinking about that right now."
