Nasty C has given Blxckie a young shoutout and the rapper is here for it.

A clip of Nasty C listing rappers people should look out for surfaced on Twitter after a tweep applauded Nasty C for putting the spotlight on others.

“Nasty C is still gonna keep on winning in life because he doesn't always think about himself only whenever he gets the chance to try to put on other artists in these big radio stations he uses it,” wrote the Twitter user.

In the interview on Destination Africa he was asked by DJ Edu if there were any artist they should be looking out for from Mzansi.

“The one guy I was gonna say who is already making crazy moves, I think he is in the States [US] now doing like a promo thing, Blxckie, one of my favourites,” said Nasty C.

“There is a lot of others, there’s KKeed as well also coming up, and there is a girl called Anica from Cape Town, she is also sick man, there’s so many man, Dee Koala. There is a guy called Maglera Doe Boy, I really mess with like the way he approaches his music, he’s very poetic, very smart guy, he’s a hood guy so when people see him they expect him to say some typical hood stuff, he’s very smart man,” said the rapper.

Blxckie retweeted the tweet and wrote “real”.

Blxckie has been making his mark overseas. He was in Los Angeles recently and performed at the South by Southwest (SXSW) 2023 event in Texas.

He also took to his timeline and shared a video of his studio session with multi award-winning Canadian singer and songwriter Nelly Furtado.

“A Sydenham [Johannesburg suburb] heights boy and Nelly Furtado,” he captioned the post.
