It was a day full of laughter and loads of fun as Shona Ferguson's family celebrated his heavenly birthday.

His family and close friends played games, sang and danced on the day in his memory.

Connie Ferguson's sister Atoise Pilane took to her Instagram timeline and shared what they got up to when they celebrated her brother-in-law who would have turned 49 on April 30. 

“Shona Ferguson Day — what a way to remember him. Those who knew him remembered him of his laughter, the man’s could laugh shem...So seeing everyone happy, laughing and the LOVE that was shared all round , I know for a fact it got him smiling in heaven. He loved family, he was love, and he was happy. Yesterday was YOU Big bro, and happy it came out exactly the way it did. Continue resting in peace mothoo and we will continue celebrating you until we meet again,” she wrote.

Taking to her Instagram timeline Connie Ferguson gushed on her late husband.

“21 months without you physically here and it still feels unreal.🥲Happy heavenly birthday to you my LOVE, the coolest dude I have ever known! We miss you so much! Today we are celebrating you for all that you were and still are; a legend!”

His daughters Lesedi and Ali also took to their Instagram timelines to post their messages.

“Happy Heavenly birthday Fah. Would’ve been 49... I always joked about how you’d be as an elder. I’m pretty sure that it’s still funny, wherever you are. I love you. Always and forever,” wrote Lesedi. 

Happy Heavenly Birthday Fa. Words cannot explain how much I miss you on a daily, but I know you are in a better place.I love you so much Fede,” wrote Ali Ferguson.
