Emtee says he was is comfortable with the life he built.

Taking to his Twitter timeline recently, the father of two reflected on the time in his life which is now coming to an end.

“Everyone knows how much I love my children and having a family has always been my dream. I was comfortable with the life I was living,” he wrote.

In his mentions, his followers urged him to not give up on his family.

“No matter what's happening, never let what's happening make you lose the bond you have with them,” posted one.

“Stay strong bro, you are a real one, never thought Nicole would do such a thing, but we men heal quick, be there for Logan & Ariel, those are your blessings,” added another.

It was announced earlier this month that Nicole Chinsamy and Emtee were heading for divorce.

A source revealed to TshisaLIVE at the time that Emtee had moved out of the flat he shared with Nicole and was living with a friend in Fourways after filing for divorce in April.

Emtee was evasive about confirming the report, saying he had not fully vacated their apartment.

“I haven't moved out completely yet. It is what is. I don't want no problems,” he said.

When asked to confirm whether he had filed a summons for divorce, Emtee responded: “Yep.”

Nicole, who has two children with the rapper, declined to comment.

When he's not dealing with “broke claims”, the rapper is constantly setting the record straight on other aspects of his life, such as why he's not a reality TV star.

Emtee recently claimed he was snubbed by Love & Hip Hop SA organisers.

The rapper revealed he was “supposed” to be on the reality show.

“Man, I was supposed to be on this Love & Hip Hop SA shit. Bang’gabhile,” he tweeted.
