Londie London has addressed rumours regarding her former relationship with Hlubi Nkosi.

In a recent sit-down with L-Tido, the singer and reality TV star opened up about what broke off her engagement to the businessman.

Londie revealed she was in an on-and-off relationship with Hlubi since 2018 and he was supportive of her and consistent, but that changed and it had an effect on their relationship.

“So many things happened. When you started off as a consistent man. A man who was supportive, a man who did whatever it took to make your woman happy and you stop doing those things, what is going to happen? It got to a point where the relationship was very dark for me. There was no support. He was still living his bachelor life and I had plans alone, when we had the plans together,” she said.

Londie's relationship made headlines on several occasions with speculations of infidelity and control over the car she received from him shooting her name up the trends lists.

The reality TV star said they fell out of love.

“It was never because of a woman. It was never because of cheating. It was just because we didn't see eye to eye. We didn't have the same aspirations as we had in the beginning and, for me, I felt like he switched up on me. I feel like he changed. I feel like he lied more than anything ... I stopped my music career, became a mother, stayed at home ... and this man.”

During her interview on Kaya 959 in January, Londie opened up about her split, saying the public did not know what she was going through.

“It’s been a while because I didn’t go public with it. It was a private matter. I went through quite a bit, especially with the tweets going out, because people weren’t sure what was happening,” she said.

Londie told TshisaLIVE reports of her being “down and out” after the relationship were fake news.

“I am human too and I also have emotions. I’d like to plead with everyone to stop spreading fake news as it causes a lot of damage to me and my family,” she said.
