Ty Loner has expressed his woes ahead of releasing new music.
The former Idols SA season 18 contestant took to his timeline recently, detailing alleged complications he experienced with his distributor and how he felt he had lost his “connection” with music.
His latest single Come Down was supposed to have dropped last week but Ty said it could only drop this week.
As he battles to reconnect with his music, he encouraged artists to stay true to themselves.
“Many times we’ve witnessed artists push themselves to limits they’re not familiar with, and sometimes causes them to lose sight of their true selves. Many young artists have made it into a harsh industry that requires one to understand themselves before making the commitment to pursue their true passions because the influence of external sources lies all around us every day,” he wrote.
“It is important to remain true to yourself and grounded, regardless of the world's expectations and opinions. We need to allow ourselves to be people, even within the public. We are human, and no matter how great we may become in all it is we do, we will always be human.”
Ty encouraged other aspiring artists to be wary of the industry they are getting into.
“Create from true and pure intention because trends end, but pure intention and love live forever. I am on my own path to finding my true self again and working on being present in everything I do and every moment I experience, including the bad ones, because they help us discover something greater within ourselves and build our character and the way we face and perceive the world.
“I never want to be hindered from what I truly feel and want to say. I want to be a living testimony not only to other inspired and passionate beings but to everyone I associate and surround myself with. You are greater than any problem you've ever faced and any obstacle you think you couldn't overcome.”
Ty assured his fans he would make a musical comeback.
