Wedding bells are ringing! House of Zwide's Shalate Sekhabi loves on-screen glamorous wedding

House of Zwide's Shoki and Nkosi finally made it down the aisle and their love shone through the screens. 

Actress Shalate Sekhabi, who plays Shoki, was over the moon with her character's fairy-tale wedding, a love story where her character and Wanda Zuma's feel like a complete love story.

Taking to her Instagram timeline she thanked viewers for their support and the team who put the magical on-screen wedding together.

“It’s official! Mr and Mrs Zwide Thank you so much to all who tuned in, and thank you for the love you’ve shown to this beautiful love story! From meeting in the dressing room with a stolen Zwide dress on to walking down the aisle! It’s been such a journey and there’s still so much more to come! Thank you to the entire House of Zwide team for all your hard work in putting this together,” she wrote.

Her appreciation post also mentioned those in production and makeup.

“It wasn’t easy but we sure made magic! Kagiso Medupe thank you for your brilliance! Couldn’t have asked for a better director to put this vision to life! My princess dreams really came true thanks to the wardrobe and makeup team! Shoki (I 👀) looked incredible! @dopezuluboi @brenda.mukwevho @house_of_queen_makeup.”

In her mentions film producer and director Kagiso Medupe said he was humbled. 

“Mashokolate, I’m truly humbled by your kind words 🥹🙏 it was a cold day but your dedication to making this day a success became the fire inside all of us. You are a champion always,” he wrote.

“Yessssesssss u looked amazing. 1 of the best weddings I've seen on our screens. Wardrobe and make up did wonders. The director and the DOP did an amazing job. This was magical,” wrote actress Gaby Tshabalala.
