Theirs was a rocky sisterhood for a while, but since they kissed and made up Zandie Gumede has been consistently showing her sister Kelly Khumalo support.

Taking to her Instagram timeline recently, she shared a snap of Kelly who was performing at an event called Rusty Rocksand gushed over her strength.

“If I had my way, I would take it all away but how else would you get to be this strong and amazing ... you can't get to be this amazing on love only, a bit of hate here and there is needed. You went out there last night and conquered where some would have crumbled. I'm proud of you,” she wrote.

Kelly was recently dropped by two festivals. The Tribute To Women concert and Maseru Jazz Festival.

Zandie has been a witness in the trial of five men accused of murdering her sister Kelly's boyfriend soccer star Senzo Meyiwa.

The Maseru festival, set to take place on September 24 at Maseru Park and Entertainment in Bokone, Mahikeng, would have included the singer in a star-studded line-up including Nathi and Mafikizolo.

In a post on their social media pages the organisers confirmed they were removing her from the line-up.

“As Maseru Park, we [are] here to inform you we have seen comments on social media about one of our guests performers ... we need to inform our public and society we are putting Kelly Khumalo on hold.

“We respect the professionalism of the legal team on the processes. The management of Maseru Park, in the interest of our jazz festival, have taken the decision to relieve Kelly Khumalo of the obligation to perform at our festival and we acknowledge she is not guilty until proven so.”
