Remember when we said 'I do!': Celebs mark their wedding anniversaries

It's anniversary season in celebville with married love birds celebrating the day they exchanged vows. 

Karabo and her hubby David Molotlhanyi are celebrating their one-year anniversary. To mark the occasion, Karabo shared never-seen-before footage of their wedding ceremony on her Instagram. 

“A year ago today we threw a massive party for our friends and family and said 'I do'.”

When her hubby popped the question, Karabo took to social media to reveal she said yes. She shared a snap of her partner on one knee asking for her hand in marriage.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE at the time, Karabo said her partner asked her to marry him on her birthday while on their Cape Town getaway, and it was easy for her to say yes because she'd always known she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

“We've been together for a very long time. I've known him since I was 19, so there was really no question about it. Everything happens in God's time and I'm extremely excited,” she said.

Crown Gospel Music Awards co-founder and businesswoman Zanele Mbokazi and her husband Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule have been married for more than a decade. The pair tied the knot on August 20 2011. 

“Thank you so much for the beautiful messages, celebrating our 12th anniversary. Love is beautiful. We have been working with couples for 10 years — yes, there are challenges in any set-up that involves two adults, but with prayer, the right foundation, commitment and guidance/counselling, kumnandi emshadweni,” wrote Zanele.

Former Bachelorette SA contestant Bridget de Kock also celebrated a milestone in her marriage to Kobus de Kock. 

“Our first wedding anniversary. One year ago today, I married my best friend. Being your wife has been everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more. Happy first wedding anniversary babe,” she wrote.
