One of Mzansi's most loved celeb couples, Steffi and Clint Brink, recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary with poetic words of love for one another.

Taking to her Instagram, Steffi celebrated their love.

Our month of love. Seven orbits around the sun. Shared laughter, tears, lessons, triumphs, favour. Our eagerness to try, even though we’ve faced some disappointments along the way, we faced them as a unit. Today we aren’t a couple any more, we are a little family. If I get to choose a life partner again I would undoubtedly choose you again.

“I know the power of unity. A marriage that focuses on one destiny, yet celebrating the individuality within the unit, is one that cannot fail. It will blossom through the hail storms because it knows resilience and endurance. It thrives on hard times because the hard times have much to teach for future storms. It becomes the antidote. The key to it all is God. He hands us the keys and knowledge to unlock many doors that lead to a bright future. Breakthroughs in marriage, work relationships and the relationship with self depend on our willingness to surrender to the process.”

Taking to his Instagram to celebrate the milestone, Clint penned a lengthy post telling his followers what marriage ought not to be.

“Marriage. It is not the place to practice being selfish. It’s not a place where you should feel alone. It is not designed for the man or woman who wants to do life flying solo with the other only ever being a wing man. It is not the place to be intolerant. It is not the place to shy away from doing the necessary work to become a better you. It is not a place for those who seek perfection. It is not a place of shelter for the deceitful and untrustworthy. It is not a place for the lazy , the uncourageous, the prideful & the narcissistic. It is not a dictatorship.

“Sooner or later marriage will make all parties come face to face with themselves standing naked in front of the other. That truth can be scary, uncomfortable or painful, but even scary, uncomfortable & painful things have value and importance. Marriage reveals what’s inside,” he wrote.
