Bohang Moeko is set to fight in his first celebrity boxing match.
A statement shared with TshisaLIVE revealed Seconds Out has partnered with Roy Jones Jr & Jodi Solomon Boxing and Legends Barbershop to present a boxing and entertainment event headlined by the macho actor on September 24.
The event, set to take place at The Firs in Rosebank, will feature Bohang in a bout against 27-year-old Leigh Capper, who works in the customer service field.
In July, Leigh entered a competition to stand a chance to get in the ring with Bohang. He is confident he will knock him out.
“I plan on beating Bohang by being evasive, reading his rhythm and strategically placing my punches,” he told TshisaLIVE.
Their fight will be among 10 action-packed bouts lined up for the evening, which will be judged by international boxing trainers Jodi Solomon and Shadow Shabane.
Tickets are selling from R200 on Quicket and proceeds from the event will be donated to The Frida Hartley Shelter.
Renowned for staging boxing exhibitions, Seconds Out is also known for fighting gender-based violence.
“Together, we aim to make a difference in this narrative, contesting this fight through the power of sport,” it said.
