Thabiso Mokhethi 'resigns' from ubungoma

Actor Thabiso Mokhethi announced he is done serving as a sangoma and is now on a journey to seek God and preach the gospel.

“There's a lot that has been happening in my life to build me, to distract me, to shape me, and to come to this decision. The Lord has asked me to publicly resign from everything he hasn't called me into. The Lord has asked me to resign from everything that is not part of his plan for my life,” he said.

AKA & K.O nominated at this years BET Hip-Hop Awards 

Rapper AKA, who was shot dead on February 10, was nominated in the “Best international flow” category with Mzansi hit maker K.O, Black Sherif (Ghana), Central Cee (UK), Gazo (France), J Hus (UK), Major Rd (Brazil), Ninho (France), Sampa The Great (Zambia) and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).

This is AKA's fifth BET nomination. The Company hit maker's previous nominations were in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019.

Bohang no longer getting in the ring with amateur boxer 

Bohang Moeko pulled out of what would've been his first boxing bout due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

The event, to have taken place at The Firs in Rosebank, was set to feature him in a bout against 27-year-old Leigh Capper. 

“I will not be able to step into the ring on the 24th as planned. However, I am committed to supporting this wonderful cause and will be present at the event. I urge everyone to attend and lend their support to this remarkable charity event. Your contributions make a significant impact on the lives of those in need and your presence is vital in making this event a success.”

Nasty C on his fight with a fan  

While on his African Throne Tour with Cassper Nyovest in Zambia, Nasty C kicked and punched a fan who jumped on stage and approached him during his performance.

Though he said he could not speak about the incident, Nasty C said he saw many artists hurt by people who pretended to be fans. 

“We've had people that come around and pose as friends but turn out to be the opposite,” he told TshisaLIVE.
