In addition to being a social media influencer and reality TV star, Mphowabadimo has added singing to her growing resume.

Taking to her social media pages on Monday, the Big Brother Mzansi season three winner announced she was gearing up to release her first single Bonga in November.

In the post, Mphowabadimo spoke of how she had dedicated time to honing her craft and was nervous of how it would be received but excited to take the plunge.

“I'm so excited to be sharing this news. It's been a long journey. For such a long time I've been wanting to speak about this, and I can finally announce that I will be releasing my first single in November. That is wild. I have this passion for music, I've always loved music. I've just been spending so much time in the studio trying to understand the craft, trying to perfect the craft and immersing myself in this new environment,” she said.

“I'm just happy that it finally gets to come out, and right now. My biggest worry is how all of you would receive it. I'm so excited and at the very same time I'm so nervous. I just can't wait any more. I can't wait for you guys to hear it.”

Since winning Big Brother Mzansi, Mphowabadimo has been building her career in the farming industry.

In a recent interview on Newzroom Africa, Mphowabadimo spoke of having to be “strategic” after acquiring fame.

“It was a life-changing experience. I think it's smart to take some time off and find yourself because it's easy to get lost in the noise and that's what I did especially for myself. I had to make big decisions for myself. I had plans, I had goals but there are a lot of things that go on in the background ... I chose to go into business first before I could go into entertainment.”
