While we're only three months into the year, gospel singer Lebohang Radebe says he's felt it in his spirit to uplift those who feel overwhelmed and fatigued to pursue the goals they set out to achieve.

With his latest five-track EP Usivikele, Lebohang is straddling various genres, including afro pop, house, amapiano and gospel, to captivate his audience with his soulful vocals and covey a message he's felt in his spirit.

“I want to be known to be producing inspirational music, healing and comforting music,” he told TshisaLIVE.

“It's been a very humbling experience, from leading the worship team at church, to becoming a backing vocalist, and now having an EP out. The timing of the project of this time and early 2024 is I want to uplift people and help them to push and stay focused through the year.”

During his career, Lebohang has collaborated with renowned artists such as Samrai from Kususa, Lindani Gumede, and Senzo Khumalo.

“I’ve worked with the award-winning Lindani and Senzo Khumalo. What an amazing experience it was.”

After the launch of his EP, Lebohang is now planning to record a live concert in Soweto.

“God's grace is sufficient and I have dedicated my life to being used by him.”
