Lexus, obviously in a desperate attempt to try and drive sales of their largely unloved and flaky hybrid hatchback, has just unveiled a new two-tone colour edition of the CT200h. Indeed, if you feel like spending half a million rand on a hard-riding, underperforming Golf wannabe then you will now have the chance of picking no less than four bi-tone colour schemes (White Quartz, Sonic Titanium, Mercury Grey or Morello Red) for "a dash of visual drama." In fact so dramatic is the treatment that I actually had to squint at the press release photographs (see above), then the Lexus website, for at least five minutes before I noticed the gloss black roof and pillars. Good job, guys, I'm sure this will see many names being erased from the GTI waiting list.
