Fears grow over missing mom and daughter

Yvonne Mbekwa‚ 27‚ has been missing since June 5‚ along with her two-year-old daughter.

Her family said she had been travelling to Port St Johns in the Eastern Cape but got worried when she failed to make contact with any of her relatives or friends.

With the recent horrifying attacks on women and children making headlines all over the country‚ Yvonne’s family is now fearing that both mother and daughter may have been killed. Port St Johns police spokeswoman Captain Nozuko Handile said Yvonne was reported missing last week and that so far there have been no leads. She has urged anyone with information to come forward.
