Seven arrests after Klapmuts robbery‚ three still at large

Western Cape police have appealed for help in tracking down three men who evaded arrest after a robbery at a Klapmuts store on Thursday night.A statement said that police “promptly responded to a business robbery” in progress‚ in which “approximately 10 suspects” had taken cash from the shop at about 7.30pm.“This prompted a chase from the officers with suspects shooting in their direction‚ and the officers retaliated bringing one of the getaway vehicles to a halt‚” Constable Noloyiso Rwexanasaid.“Three suspects were arrested after their efforts to run away on foot were thwarted. A further four were arrested around Kuilsriver after their vehicle was involved in an accident.“Thankfully none of our members sustained any injuries resulting from the incident.”Information regarding the whereabouts of the remaining suspects should be forwarded to 086010111...
