and have implemented a number of changes to improve your experience of our new website.

We asked you to give us your feedback on the site and we've made some changes as a result of that input. So thank you to all those users who took the time to give us feedback and make constructive suggestions.

  • Sign-in and registration problems have been resolved and those who are already signed in on Sowetan LIVE and Business LIVE can now also sign in on Times LIVE.
  • We've made the capture box bigger so you will be able to see the verification letters more easily
  • We've mostly completed the migration of our millions of articles dating back 10 years but we're not entirely up to date as yet so you may still get error pages if you're searching more recent articles.
  • We've put in section headings to make your navigation easier - we were also getting lost without them.
  • Having all the columnists listed on our Opinion page didn't really make sense so we have moved them to the columnists page. Opinion will feature a variety of articles from its various sub-sections and you should be able to find your favourite columnists more easily
  • Blogs have not disappeared - the click through has just moved to the drop down menu from the Opinion tab
  • On comments you will have noticed we do have the most recent comment displayed first and comment streams are linked.
  • We've come in for some criticism because we're restricting opportunities to comment to certain selected articles but this criticism has come, in the main, from those who tended to abuse the comment facility. Comments are opened on selected stories so we can better monitor the comments on these articles - and our new moderation tools have enabled us to full implement our zero tolerance for racism and foul language. So you should find our comments more engaging.
  • With fewer articles opened for comments  we're receiving far more contributions to our iLIVE page which is great. You can email your contribution to ilive@timeslive.co.za. Interesting contributions from here have a good chance of being featured on our home and other pages.

If you have any other suggestions please comment below or email feedback@timeslive.co.za
