Johannesburg metro police have uncovered an operation where pamphlets advertising penis enlargements were being printed.

Two men distributing the leaflets in Bree Street led officers to an office at 220 Jeppe Street where posters and the pamphlets were being churned out, spokesman Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.

About 30 000 copies were confiscated, along with counterfeit Nike and Puma t-shirts which were also being printed on the premises.

Police were trying to track down the owner of the operation.

He would be charged with contravening the Sexual Offences Act and the Film and Publications Act, because of explicit photos on the pamphlets.
