A man has been found seriously wounded but alive near a field in Limpopo where the corpses of three others were found earlier this week.

The man from Roodepoort‚ Gauteng‚ cannot tell police what happened yet due to his injuries.

"The man was badly injured with a bullet wound on his left arm and another stuck in his mouth‚ preventing him from speaking‚" explained Lt-Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

All of the men had been shot.

The identities of the deceased are all still unknown.

The wounded man was found "next to the same gravel road‚ not far from where bodies of the three deceased were found in the bushes" near N'wamatatani RDP Section‚ said Ngoepe.

"The communication between him and the police was through writing. He confirmed that he was in the company with the three deceased and that he is 25 years of age from Roodepoort in Gauteng province.

"He was immediately taken to hospital for medical attention and as soon as his health condition improves‚ he will be instrumental (in helping police establish) what exactly happened and also provide their identification."

The police in Hlanganani near Giyani are investigating.
