Patosi finds form in Belgium ahead of 2018 World Cup qualifiers

Bafana Bafana returnee Ayanda Patosi was in good form for his Belgian side Lokeren at the weekend‚ setting up both goals in a 2-1 win over Kortrijk. Patosi provided the assists as he celebrates a return to the national team squad for the Fifa World Cup qualifier away in Burkina Faso on Saturday‚ and home to Ghana in a friendly next Tuesday.May Mahlangu was the only other European-based member of that squad to see action when he came on as a substitute midway through the second half for Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest in their 2-1 loss to Botoșani.Thulani Serero continues to be frozen out at Ajax Amsterdam‚ where he is not part of the first-team plans for coach Peter Bosz.And striker Tokelo Rantie did not make it off the bench for new Turkish side Genclerbirligi as they were defeated 2-0.Kamohelo Mokotjo returned from a hamstring injury to help Dutch club FC Twente to a 1-1 draw at Heracles‚ a good away point for them as they continued a good start to the new campaign.Striker Dino Ndlovu opened his account for Azerbaijan side Qarabag in their 5-1 loss to Fiorentina in the UEFA Europa League last Thursday‚ but drew a blank in a domestic league game against Qabala on Sunday.Lebogang Phiri played for Brondby in a 2-2 draw with Mandla Masango’s Randers‚ though the latter continues his self-imposed exile from the side after asking for a move away from the club.SuperSport United youngster Zama Rambuwane played for Israeli top-flight side Hapoel Ra’anana as they won 2-0 against Hapoel Haifa‚ while Bradley Ralani was on the losing side again for Swedish club Helsingborg as they slipped closer to relegation with a 1-0 loss at home to Hammarby.Granwald Scott came on as a second-half substitute for Slovakian side Slovan Bratislava in Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Michalovce‚ while Daylon Claasen was on the losing side for German Bundesliga II club 1860 Munich.Kermit Erasmus was dropped from the match-day squad by Rennes over the weekend‚ while Andile Jali was injured for Oostende’s 2-2 draw with Sint Truiden. – TMG Sport..
