Dozens of passengers were left hanging in the air for up to two hours after a roller coaster made an emergency stop in Japan last week.

The Flying Dinosaur roller coaster at Universal Studios Japan stalled midway through its ride due to a motor-related glitch, according to the Asahi Shimbun.

One of the carriages got stuck on the upward track, leaving passengers facing the ground, while the other carriage was suspended closed to the departure platform.

All 64 passengers were evacuated safely.
