The trouble with writing this column the day before it’s published is that things can change, and if the more zealous corners of American social media have been proved right, and the Rapture took place on Monday, with evangelicals blasting off this planet like millions of chipolatas fired out of a canon, things might have changed in a very big way indeed. ..
