Those in the know say this Mampara has been using the North West government purse as his piggy bank. Some of the funds meant for the development of the rural province have been diverted to his pockets and those of his family members and hangers-on.
The frustration of communities in and around Mahikeng finally spilt onto the streets this week. This Mampara organised a mob to counter the community protest. He told his supporters he was not scared of the community members who were demanding that he vacate office.
Public property was destroyed, shops were looted in his defence. Fortunately even his own caucus in the North West legislature agrees that this Mampara must suffer the same fate as his role model, former president Jacob Zuma...
