Sjava, Kelly K and Thembsie "Petronella" Matu stole the show at the 10th Feather Awards, which took place at City Hall in Johannesburg on Thursday night.

Celebs and friends of the LGBTIQ+ community filled the hall as they celebrated some of the biggest names in the entertainment and sporting industry.

Host Somizi Mhlongo made a grand entry with a full brass band and brought bucket loads of spice. He had the audience in fits of laughter most of the time but also fell flat once or twice.

But the show really started on the red carpet where Kelly K and her new bae Chad da Don were not scared to show a little PDA.

Even Robbie Malinga Jnr with his two bodyguards couldn't draw attention away from the lovebirds, who were inseparable the whole night.

Translation: A box and flowing white dress. On the outside of the box was pictures of people from the LGBTIQ+ community who have died.

He explained that the outfit was to show solidarity to those who had lost their lives after being discriminated against.

While the awards was a shade-throwing fest everyone stood united to applaud   Thembsie, who plays Petronella on Mzansi Magic drama The Queen

She won the Diva Extraordinaire and gave a hilarious and heartfelt speech to a standing ovation.
