Malcolm X wants to "reward" the man who was "resurrected"  by pastor Alph Lukau, saying he will refrain from judging the man as many others have.

A video of Elliot Moyo being 'raised from the dead' went viral last month and sparked widespread outrage. Alleluia Ministries later said Lukau never claimed to have brought anyone back to life.

“Most people have already judged Elliot without knowing him! I’m not one of them, hence I have a reward for him,” he said out on Instagram.

Malcolm’s followers weren’t too pleased about his decision to “reward” Elliot, saying no matter what the story is behind why he acted as a “dead” man, they are sure he already got paid and if Malcolm gives him more money, he’ll never learn.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE Malcolm defended his decision, saying he was not willing to judge Elliot without hearing his side of the story directly from him.

He said Pastor Alph has been speaking on the man’s behalf through his lawyers but Elliot was yet to publicly say anything.

“The reason I refuse to judge Elliot even before I’ve met him is based on the Audi alteram partem (to hear the other side) principle. Through his lawyers, Pastor Lukau has spoken on Elliot’s behalf, but we still haven’t heard Elliot’s side of the story. It might be premature to judge the man who most probably needs more pity than scorn as we don’t know what state of mind he was in prior and during the so-called resurrection.”

Malcolm said he was willing to pay for Elliot to have a physical and mental check-up and help him rebuild his life.

“I wish to take him for a physical and mental medical check-up at my cost. And, like I said, I have a reward for him for trending more than all our celebrities combined, and help him to rebuild his life, including taking him back to his employers.”
