Twin DJs Banele and Bandile Mbere of Major League DJz had fans wondering if there's a possible collabo coming up with one of America's mega stars.

The pair took to their socials and hinted at working with American rap legend and businessman YE.

“Link up with YE in Paris we gone,” they posted on their Twitter account.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Banele spoke of the duo's pride in how far they've come in their career, being signed to international record label Atlantic Records, and being among renowned superstars such as DJ Black Coffee, Wiz Kid, Davido and Burna Boy who have sold out the O2 stadium in London and won the BET accolade.

“It's mainly about taking the SA sound to the world. We are getting international recognition. I feel like the Major League brand is being celebrated more outside SA. We've done a lot of cover shoots, bigger shows. Our shows are much bigger outside SA,” Banele told TshisaLIVE.

The award-winning duo hosted a 75-hour Balcony Mix Xperience from September 2 and had many in their dancing shoes until September 4 in their attempt to break the world record for the longest DJ set by a duo.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE on the first night, Bandile of Major League DJz said while they were exhausted from their travels, they were determined to push until the end.

“I'm tired but we are good. I love the energy of the crowd,” he said.

“The Major League Xperience is us giving back to our fans, especially the lovers of Balcony Mix. There are very select people are here. Tickets were sold out for each day so it's amazing to see the turnout. People appreciate the culture we bring to them.”
