Pholoso "Toss" Masombuka has a new dance challenge that's become Mzansi's new viral craze and is growing beyond our borders.

It follows the up-and-coming kwaito star's Umlando challenge, from his hit of the same name featuring 9umba and Mdoovar, which went viral in January. It garnered more than 270-million views on TikTok, with 112,000 videos created and more than 7.5-million streams.

Toss's new song, Ncebeleka, featuring Felo Le Tee, has brought the new challenge to the fore.

The artist took to his timeline to celebrate the song's success, with fans as far afield as Japan were in on the challenge.

Toss has seemingly mastered the art of creating viral dance crazes.

After starting his career in sports in the Kaizer Chiefs development programme — before he “misbehaved” and got suspended — he's finally found a rhythm that's launched him to stardom.

Speaking previously to TshisaLIVE, Toss said he wanted to make the most of the fame as he felt he'd been given a second chance.

“It feels amazing and scary at the same time, but I’m enjoying the moment. I’m trying not to succumb to the pressure. I’m trying to keep it as solid as I can. Sometimes it can get overwhelming because people expect you to be happy all the time, but I’m handling quite well,” he said.
