Actress Dineo Langa has managed to impress writer and director Chris Q with their latest project.

He took  to his socials to show Dineo some love and recognition for blowing him away with a character that Dineo more than delivered on.

“I fell in love with her personality on V Entertainment. There was that little voice thing she would do at the end of the show when she would say: 'From my heart to yours, all love.' I lived for that thing. I thought she’d be wonderful with kids, and my dream was to cast her in a movie as a paediatrician (that movie is still on the horizon)

“Bakwethu, u-Dineo wumuntu. We started shooting at around 07:00 and at 20h07, she looked at a crew member who was falling asleep and smiled: 'Ga gona kgomo ya boroko.' And there were two more scenes to get through still. Not once did her energy change. Not once did she complain, argue or appear unhappy. Quite the opposite, in fact. I even joked that she had stolen some sugar while no-one was watching,” he wrote.

The director has become synonymous with giving actors their flowers while they can still smell them. Earlier this year he praised, among others, Sanaa Mchunu, Sjava and Nelisa Mchunu on his Instagram timeline.

The Gomora actress Sannah Mchunu bagged the DStv MVCA's Favourite Actress award and Chris Q took to Instagram in a lengthy post to give his fans a glimpse of what it was like to work with the actress and to gush over her talent.

“If you ever needed proof that God’s timing is impeccable or that hard work pays off, look no further. If you watch Channel 164 as frequently as I do, you’ll know that Sannah Mchunu has been on a few Mzansi Bioskop films for more than 10 years. But it was only with the arrival of Gomora that many were introduced to her remarkable talent.
