Gqom musician Babes Wodumo finally has her Instagram account back after spending some time not posting on it.

Taking to her timeline to announce the news, she shared a snap of herself with her late husband musician Mampintsha.

“Talking about a man who fights for me even on the other side. We all make plans but God makes the final decision #My Instagram page is back#," she captioned her post.

In a statement on Twitter in 2019 while they were embroiled in a legal battle, Babes claimed Mampintsha had access to her social media accounts and was posing as her to make comments in his own Instagram posts.

“Greetings everyone. I would like to put it on record that Mampintsha is using my Instagram account, without my consent, to comment on his statuses. He has my password including that of iCloud so he has access to my accounts. He posts to his account then logs into mine to comment.”

Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo died on December 24 after complications from a stroke.

On Valentine's Day Babes took to her Twitter timeline to post a snap of herself at her late husband's grave.

“Wow after so many years this is the first Valentine's Day without you sthandwa sam. Today women out there are celebrating with loved ones, but me being here today makes it different from others. I forever cherish days we shared together. Ngyazi ujabulile ukungbona,” she captioned her post.

After the funeral Babes had to face the reality that her husband was no longer around.

“The sad thing is the bed is empty and she needs to take up more responsibilities. Babes is strong. What I like about her is that she didn't change her character,” Babes' sister Nondumiso Simelane told TshisaLIVE.
