Babes Wodumo is mourning the passing of another loved one after the death of Jabulani Thamsanqa Zama. 

A statement shared on Sunday on Eyadini Lounge's social media pages revealed the founder succumbed to a severe stroke.

“An amazing soul full of love, joy and faith ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God. His family requests to mourn privately, and funeral details to be confirmed.”

The Wololo hit maker took to her social media timeline penning her tribute to the late businessman. 

“RIP Baba wami. Eyadini Lounge ukhonze lapho ku Mnyeni wami,” Babes wrote.

Other stars, including DJ Happygal Ndlovu and DJ Cndo, were among those who expressed how they were left distraught by the tragic news.

“RIP Mphathi. ubuthanda ukuba [You loved being] hands on kwi business lakho,” Happy wrote.

“Rest in peace. My brother, Jigga Money,” KZN comedian Mondli Mzinzi wrote.

The family of the late businessman expressed their gratitude to those who have shared their tributes.

“The family notes and appreciates messages and prayers as they come to terms with the passing of their son. We find solace in His word.

“Eyadini Lounge will remain closed until further notice. Further announcements regarding the memorial service and burial arrangements will be confirmed in due course.”
