Rapper J Molley is toying with the idea of releasing more music soon, but wants his fans to decide.

“If you know me you know I've been wanting to quit music for years now. Should I drop my tape or call it quits? It's up to ya'll my fans. You made me, so you get to make the decision,” he wrote on his Instagram stories.

In his next post the rapper said he received 300 DMs and “I was ready to drop the project”.

The rapper was recently cast in Love and Hip Hop SA which won an award for the Best International Show at the 12th annual National Reality TV Awards 2023.

“This recognition reaffirms our commitment to showcasing the rich tapestry of South African hip hop and youth entertainment culture across the continent. We are inspired and will continue to leverage the power of Paramount global formats to showcase and deliver compelling and entertaining content for our key markets,” Monde Twala, senior vice-president and general manager for Paramount Africa and lead for BET International markets, said of the achievement.

Before his Almost Dead project, J Molley shed light on his challenge.

“I suffer from a borderline personality disorder, which is like bipolar but worse. It’s more of a thing. One hour you’re happy, the next hour you’re sad. One moment you love someone, the next moment you hate someone and you want to kill them. We feel things 10 times more than everyone, so everything is so extreme.”
