Dr Ziphozenkosi “Zee” Mthembu and gospel star Dumi Mkokstad have welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world.

In her Instagram stories Dr Zipho shared the meaning of the names they have given their little boy. They are Neyam'enkosini, Ulilanga and Lulibo.

Before she gave birth, Dr Zipho took to her Instagram timeline to pen a sweet note to her unborn baby and shared snaps from her maternity shoot accompanied by a Bible verse.

''You are loved beyond understanding. I pray for you every moment I get and already know what a blessing you are to our family. I thank God for your life and know it is by His grace that we made it so far. In all your life always: 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and all your mind and your soul, and do not lean on your own understanding',” she wrote.

The pair tied the knot on June 6 2019.

Marking the occasion, Dumi penned a heartfelt message to his better half.

“Every time I look at my wife, I see God's love. As I always say to her, I thought I had lost her. I thought it was impossible. I thought she was too good for me. So much had been said about me. Every time I need to remind myself of how much God loves me I always look next to me. Ziphozenkosi is truly my treasure. In every sense of the word. A gift from the Lord. Proof of God's unfailing love,” he wrote.
