WATCH | A look at Blxckie and his bae's GRWM video

Blxckie and his girlfriend Hermosa's YouTube GRWM (get ready with me) video has fans swooning over their undeniable chemistry.

During the video, the rapper answered questions sent by his fans - from how he feels about his relationship to his achievements while doing his partner's makeup.

Where do you see yourself in 5-7 years?

I would've done a lot of stadiums I think, a lot of awards, you and I would be pretty far by then and have a lot of stuff done. A lot of progress. I don't like to jinx things but I am putting myself in a corner by saying I want to do stadiums because I really want to."

In the long run, do you still see yourself as a record-making artist or would you venture into other spaces in the industry? 

I'm not talkative enough ... A lot of artists, if they do anything other than rapping, they end up as judges, presenters, or acting and stuff. I'm not good at that, I'm just good at making music. I won't be talking too much. I just do interviews for the fans because they want to know what I'm thinking. 

What are some of your greatest achievements?

There are a few. B4NOW tour. That's a big one for me because it wasn't that long after the album dropped. I didn't give people time to think about it. The BET nomination was also cool.

Through his music, Blxckie has shown his fans a vulnerable side when he started exploring heartbreak, love, and new-age romance on his EP 4LUV, singing slow acoustic ranges.

When previously speaking to TshisaLIVE, Blxckie expressed his gratitude to his fans for showing him support since his debut album 4Now.

“Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey from B4Now to where we are today — I’m excited to keep creating and revealing more of Blxckie through music," he said. 

Through his musical journey, Blxckie has taken major strides.

In 2021, the rapper took the coveted number one seat in at the MTV Base Hottest MCs, meeting the criteria set out by the judges.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, he said he was always inspired by the list to work even harder.

"It has always been something I was looking forward to. Would watch it every year and be inspired. It’s even crazier that it's my first time being on the list.”
