A Cyan Boujee lookalike has tongues wagging over her uncanny similarity to the DJ and social media sensation.
Seldine Lucyanne Meintjies, who was blocked by Cyan Boujee on TikTok with fans constantly pointing out they look alike, said she was tired of being compared to her and some making claims of her wanting her life because they share a similar name.
Though Cyan's real name is Honour Zuma, her stage name is similar to her doppelgänger's second name, which she's had to prove by pinning her identity document on her social media.
Lucyanne said while she was not offended by the comparisons, she wants to stop living under Cyan's shadow and also make a name for herself.
“I'm honoured to look like this queen but every time I trend here on TikTok it's because of her and I appreciate it but it's getting too much. Almost on every post someone will mention her,” she wrote.
“I wanted to say I'm aware of the similarities and we are not related whatsoever. I'm my own person. Everyone has that one person that looks like you. You just need to find them. It is normal having someone that looks like you but let's not fall under their shadow, but absolutely love her. Thank you.”
