Video: Take a heartbreaking ride into California's vintage car rally scene

California has a burgeoning vintage car rally scene. Likeminded individuals with a lust for adventure and good old-fashioned mechanical automobiles can often be scene cruising the roads between Los Angeles and San Francisco en masses. Alfas. Porsches. MGs. Datsuns. Whatever. If it's old-school it's welcome. Brooklyn-based cinematographer, Daniel Soares, decided to ride shotgun and capture the essence of this close-knit community. And in doing so his resultant film, What a Ride, tells a tale of both heartache and inspiration. – Thomas Falkiner
