Gospel artist arrested in Eastern Cape

A female gospel artist has been arrested in connection with a hijacking in Butterworth, Eastern Cape police said on Monday.

Captain Ernest Sigobe said the 47-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday.

He said two other people ran away and police were still searching for them.

She was due to appear in the Butterworth Magistrate's Court on Monday.
