Wanted desperately: SABC board members. Parliament's search for new SABC board members has been hit by yet another delay, caused by the communications portfolio committee's decision to re-advertise the positions because of a lack of suitable applicants previously.More than 100 applications had been received for three posts, including that of chairman, previously held by Ellen Tshabalala.Acting committee chairman Dikeledi Tsotetsi said: "After our meeting [last week] ... we requested advice [on] how we [should] move forward given the situation that we do not have sufficient [qualified] candidates ."ANC MP Moses Tseli said committee members "felt strongly" that the posts be re-advertised.Among the previous applicants was a certified bricklayer, a policing expert and a man who said he had started his own business at the age of six.
