A man was shot and killed on the busy Durban Street in Korsten outside Port Elizabeth after a fight between Somali traders on October 27 2018.

Gangs fighting within the Somali community is not affecting their community alone, but SA communities where people live and trade.

Somali Board of SA general secretary Abdirizak Ali Osman warned that they are aware of gangs operating in their community, where a number of people have been killed.
