What's your funny Valentine's story?
I've been complaining to my sister about Valentine's Day and how sad I am going to be if I don't get anything. It was meant to be a hint for her to spoil her baby sister. But she missed the point and recommended I send myself roses and a card and then act surprised when I receive them. The jury is still out on that idea - I've got the florist's number on speed dial if things get desperate.
Who would be your ideal Valentine?
I have a huge secret crush on a Spanish hunk (well, it's not such a secret now that half the country knows). I firmly believe we were made for each other. But we're just friends.
Truth is there is only one man I would give anything and everything in this world to share this day or any other day with - my late father - just so I could tell him how much I love him.
What would you send him?
For the Spanish hunk, I was thinking of sending him Victoria Secret lingerie (my size) with a card saying nothing else but "hint hint, wink wink". But I am worried. What if he is a cross dresser and decides to squeeze into it himself? No, that will not do and clearly I am not too good at giving hints. But it would be nice to play the reckless temptress and pursue the object of one's desire relentlessly, all the while hoping they don't get a restraining order.
