Starting out as a Hollywood stylist, the eldest daughter of motivational speaker Earl Suttle and talk-show queen Felicia Mabuza-Suttle is hitting the airwaves with songs such as Sweet Like Butter from her upcoming album, The One We've Been Waiting For -and she's also been named the "most stylish South African" at the SA Style Awards held at Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton.

I can't live without: family, friends, children's clothing, music, internet and love.

Fragrance:

Victor & Rolf - Flower Bomb.

My favourite facial product:

A Dermalogica facial has saved me from breakouts.

Sunglasses:

I'm the ambassador for Tom Ford sunglasses.

Favourite gadget:

iBook, BlackBerry, iPhone for internet and YouTube.

I've started designing ... a line of unisex hand-beaded epaulettes called "Thrillers D'Afrique" with my friend Lizel Strydom.

In my fridge I always have ... water, yoghurt and strawberries. I'm a single lady so I eat out all the time.

I get my hair cut at: Love salon in Cape Town.

I always forget to buy: milk.

The first item I bought with my first pay cheque ... was a Betsey Johnson silk dress. What a splurge! I bought it after working with Beyoncé.

My necessary extravagance ... is a once-a-year safari.

My secret shopping sin ... is shoes and vintage clothing .

Best gift:

Unconditional love.

The friendship's over if you give me: a negative attitude.

What I'm coveting right now ... more turbans like the one I wore to the SA Style Awards.

ShopTalk: Romancing the stone

Rocks of the precious kind continue to glisten in the retail market, and local outfit African Romance is cashing in with the opening of two new stores in Johannesburg. The diamond and jewellery retailer, known for its African-inspired pieces, has just opened stores in Sandton Eye and Rosebank. The colour scheme and textures fuse African elements such as the roots of a tree and drum-shaped display units.
