It's a long weekend, which means its time to let a little bit of dust settle on your desk and enjoy Phuza Thursday with the pros-pect of a hangover. The question is what to do with all this precious free time. Here are a few ideas:

MUSIC

The artists are at the vanguard of a new generation of hip hop and R&B musicians who have thrown the old rule book out and are redefining what it means to be cool. The Box Shop Festival

You may wake up tomorrow with an itchy credit card finger and a hankering for something cool and local. The Box Shop Food and Fashion Festival offers you the chance to spend your free time propping up the local economy.

The festival will offer up some tasty artisanal dishes as well as craft beer brewed in Soweto. Some of the city's top designers will also have their wares on display. Kids will have a safe space to run their little hearts out.
