RECIPE: Eggless nog recipe

An egg-free local take on the classic Christmas sip made with condensed milk, Amarula and festive spices. It can be enjoyed hot, or cold with lots of ice

Serves: 2-4, depending on the size of the glasses

Ingredients:

375ml (1½ cups) milk

½ x 385g can condensed milk

2.5ml (½ tsp) nutmeg

2.5ml (½ tsp) ground cinnamon

125ml (½ cup) Amarula liqueur

Method:

1. Bring the milk, condensed milk and spices to a gentle boil in a pan on the stove. Remove from the heat, add the liqueur and stir well.

2. Serve warm with an extra sprinkling of nutmeg and cinnamon; or cool completely and serve in tall glasses with lots of ice and a sprinkling of extra spice.
